Rossetti was born to John Rossetti and Cherie Purdy on March 17, 2001, in Yonkers. He grew up in Mahopac and attended Mahopac High School.
The love, pride, and joy of his mother, Cherie’s life, as well as her constant for the past 18 years, Rossetti was known for being adventurous, his obituary said.
He spent his time outdoors, whether riding his quad or playing any sport that he could enroll in. He played basketball, football, and soccer, but had a special love for baseball, the obit said.
As he grew older, Rossetti developed a notorious fashion sense. His favorite pair of shoes were his Gucci slides.

He is also survived by his aunts, Ashley (Matt) Corrao, Tara (Jeff) Davis, and his uncle, Justin Purdy. John was predeceased by his grandfather, Keith Purdy.
